MDS = Memories of a Darling Shirt

The majority of my childhood photos were on slides that I had transferred to digital a few years back. This one in particular was really light so I was very excited to find that the Photo Effects tool on MDS was able to darken it up quite nicely. I love this picture and I am quite pleased with the way this turned out.

MDS = My Dear Sibling

I thought it was time that I play with my MDS again. I have found that the best way to become familiar with the program is to try to create a layout by copying from someone else so I cut out some ideas from my old Stampin' Success publications prior to 2007 and taped them into a notebook. Now I have a little reference book.

I met Grace when Joe (my brother) took me to see Seven Springs during my vacation to PA. This was taken a day or two after I left during their training. I love the beautiful fall leaves in the background combined with the crisp morning air of winter approaching. Brrr.

A Warm Gesture

This is a card/Hot Cocoa holder made out of a paper lunch sack. I've shown you the front on the left and the inside on the right. As you can see, the opening goes to the right so that you can put the cocoa packet in. This would make a great office or single person gift. For a family you could give it with a canister of cocoa.
