House of Haunts

I decided to make a card. Even though I was inspired by Dawn Griffith, this is exactly what I had in mind when I started to make this card. So, I guess you could say she saved me a step. I really could have come up with this myself. It's simply embossed, masked and sponged.

Oh no! I just noticed I missed a window! HA!

Paper Fairy Kris

Stamped by Kris Kilkenny

I thought I'd showcase another card made by my friend Kris. This was her wow swap at the 2011 Convention. Isn't it beautiful? I love the placement of the rhinestones!

I received these cards in a recent swap and I was very impressed with the set so I wanted to showcase them. There was actually another but I ruined it. Oops! Sorry Jill!

Thinking of You... Fall

When I saw this set in the Mini Catalog last year, I loved it. I already had a leaf set though, so how could I get it? Well, I decided I could have more than one leaf set and what better than a current one!

This card was inspired by a card I found on Stampin' Connection (a Stampin' Up! sponsored group). Several demonstrators had created their versions and this one is mine. It looks like it originated from Dawn Olchefske.  They used a clear block to create the rectangular background, I used a deck of cards (from Stampin' Up!) that I got from Convention that was still in the wrapper. One of the leaves was stamped using the Rock and Roll technique. It is a very simple card with layers of stamped images instead of cardstock and accessories. I love it.

Simply Soft

Today's card was created for my side project. It doesn't have any words on purpose. I was inspired by Wendy Weixler. Notice the pearls on the flowers. I love the pearls! I have the rhinestones too but haven't yet become super attached to them. It's only a matter of time.

The ribbon was done by punching a hole right there under the bow and simply wrapping it around the card from that point. The flowers were stamped with Simply Soft. It's a Hostess set. Have you checked out the new hostess benefits? I love them.

Colors: Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Riding Hood Red, Pool Party, Night of Navy.

Best Friends Forever

We got this set for FREE at the 2011 Convention and I didn't think I was going to like it so much. It's growing on me now and I think I'll be using it much more often.

I made 6 of this card for a little side project I'm doing. I was inspired by Libby Fens. I google for ideas and liked the simplicity of this design. I hope you like it.

Come back soon for more. I have been stamping like crazy and will be posting daily. If you don't want to forget to return, simply subscribe to my website by entering your email there on the right. You can also follow me on google. I recommend that. I love google follower. It's a time saver.
